Car Emissions

Is it really worth it to drive a car like this? Think about how much gas it takes up ! Even though it looks awesome, is it really worth it? By driving a car like this, you need to spend more money on gas. You would be burning up a whole lot of fossil fuels that aren't necessary especially because of how much gas costs these days. Burning up more fossil fuels means more amounts of pollution and right now we need to take action and preserve our world we live in not just for ourselves, but also for our future generations.

yeah
Yes i totally agree wuth that but in my opinion, if you had the chance to get that car and ride it, when it came down to it people would pick the car even though they now how much fuel and gas it uses. I know i would

did you know
they have hydrogen cars and electric cars!!! although they have ethanol gas, which is made of corn or something, wouldn't it be sweet if that car had an electric motor or if it runs on hydrogen!!! Nice ride and saves the environment!!! :)

Jahon,I agree that we should save the fossil fuel for futuristic purposes. By the way, you know the picture of the car you showed it doesn't only run on gas. For a higher price you can buy it and use the kind of fuel nobody uses. And it doesn't pollute as much as the normal kinds.

Personally, I would never buy a huge car like that. I think it is a waste of our resources. I go back and forth over whether or not I think huge SUVs should be banned from urban and suburban areas. On the one hand, it is totally unnecessary to have a car that size if you live in a big city that has ample opportunities for mass transit and good roads. On the other, I'm all for preserving a person's freedom to choose what he or she wants to buy. The question to ask is whether or not the harm caused to the Earth and its inhabitants is great enough to warrant making them illegal and limiting some people's freedom. In the mountains or a rural area where roads are not very good, I could see allowing huge SUVs and see no reason why they should be banned there. Any thoughts?
